Healing From Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS)

Having Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) firsthand, I know how hard it is to find a practitioner who believes you and understands the condition enough to offer you any relief from the endless suffering. Because MCAS affects all systems of your body, it can be a confusing condition to diagnose and treat. If you have mysterious and complex symptoms that come and go, you know how underserved and misunderstood we are in the medical community, and it leads to a lot of frustration and hopelessness.

My Story With MCAS

I was officially diagnosed in 2018 with a severe case of Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) and have spent every second since learning how I could heal and achieve remission because I simply couldn’t fathom an entire lifetime of debilitating pain, sensitivities, reactions, isolation, dysautonomia, and fatigue coupled with expensive medications and cash-only doctor visits. I desired to heal the root cause. Even though I was working with doctors, it took me years to understand what it would take to heal and not just mask my symptoms, and I didn’t have a coach to help me with the day-to-day challenges of managing MCAS at the same time as healing. I eventually got there, but it felt like it took forever.

Remission From MCAS is Possible

At Healing Masters, we shed light on complex illnesses like Mast Cell Activation Syndrome and the root causes that trigger the immune system to become dysfunctional so you can get the help you desperately need. By taking a holistic approach to addressing the underlying imbalances and root causes behind your condition, you’re able to reduce the intensity and number of symptoms you experience on a regular basis.

As Integrative Health Coaches, we take the time to explain:

  • How extreme sensitivity develops in the body, from things like mineral and nutrient deficiencies, detox impairment, hormone imbalances, sluggish drainage pathways, exposure to mold and other toxic substances, viral, bacterial, parasitic, and fungal infections, traumatic experiences, and trapped emotions.

  • How sensitivity and toxicity differ and overlap. Reducing toxic burden in the body is super important, which involves restoring cellular energy, healthy drainage (elimination) pathways, detoxification, and intentional living to reduce your exposure to toxins in your food supply, products, and environment.

  • How the body gets “stuck” fighting threats after they’ve passed, and how this affects the function of your immune system and cells. MCAS feels a lot like PTSD of the immune system.

  • How to address root causes behind your symptoms, guiding you on what to focus on first

I want you to know that you don’t have to spend the next year, two or three trying to figure it out on your own. You can shorten your timeline to heal by working with someone who understands MCAS well and can customize root cause protocols for your sensitivities and provide the empathetic and flexible support you’ve been looking for.

Having help from someone who has gone through it themselves takes a lot of the frustration away and keeps you motivated and calm during the tough days. I wish I would have had a coach to help me, which is why I am so passionate about helping others who are all in on pursuing remission from MCAS. Healing isn’t always easy, but living with MCAS is already hard. It’s a lot easier to get through the hard days when you know that healing and relief is on the other side.
